Welcome to North East Higher Skills Network
The North East Higher Skills Network is a partnership between all 28 universities and colleges in North East England. Funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, we are one of 30 lifelong learning networks in England.
Lifelong learning networks such as the North East Higher Skills Network are groups of institutions working together to address key challenges for learners and employers in their areas.
Lifelong learning networks seek to enable all people to gain access to the benefits of higher skills, and also to enable organisations to see the benefits of investing in the higher skills of their workforces, and developing further the higher skills of those who already possess them.
The North East Higher Skills Network currently works with employers and learners in:
- Engineering & Manufacturing
- Health, Social Care and the Children's Workforce
- Leadership and Management
- Small Businesses
